corporate company wide Item Master Catalog. Keith will outline the

incorporating the cleansing effort into the project scope, and Jim
Calvert will discuss the hard dollar ROI opportunities based on the
industry standards combined with his twenty plus years experience within
the maintenance spare parts inventory vertical. Within most multi plant
organizations the duplication ranges from 10 to 20%, and the excess
active-overstock of A-type MRO Items can be as high as 15%, which once
identified can be converted into hard dollar cost savings.

significant component of maintaining assets for a mining site.
Using Interwest Mining as an example, this
presentation depicts the use of eAM in their underground coalmine
collecting MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration) permissibility
inspection data through setup and usage of quality plans. This use of
quality plans automates follow-up work order creation providing a simple
interface for the collection of data and ensuring audit-tracking
capability for mitigation work.
The Quality module has been an integral
component of EBusiness Suite Applications for a long time, and this
unique approach takes advantage of the integration of the Oracle
products. The Interwest Mining Company can exploit the integration of
the eAM module preventing the need for personalization and
customizations.
